  4. Deliver to an address of your choice within the UK.

We will manage the whole process for you.

Although we will inform your GP that you have signed up to the service. It would not harm if you inform your GP and ask them to send your prescription via Electronic Prescription Service.

If you have a medication that you don’t need, the simplest way to do this is to return the medication to your local pharmacy. For further assistance please contact us.

We need a minimum of two weeks lead time. This varies depending on how many medications you have and the last time you ordered your medications from the GP. Should you need medication while we’re setting up your account, we’re happy to help.

We offer a very easy cancelation process. All you have to do is call us, we will then send you a cancellation form to complete the process.

Changing your nominated pharmacy is simple. Please contact us by phone and we will help you along. Changing your nominated pharmacy without informing us may lead to confusions dispensing your medication.

About iPill

iPill is a service that helps you with organising your pills into individual pouches according to date, dose and time or have them dispensed in their original boxes.

Anyone taking three or more medications and is registered with a GP in England can take advantage of iPill Pouch to optimise their dose regimen and organise their medication into individual pouches. Your medication will be delivered on regular bases to an address of your choice. To qualify, your GP surgery will need to be part of the electronic prescriptions service (EPS)*. You can check the status of your GP on NHS Choices.

About the Pouches

No, there are many medications that cannot go into pouches such as

  1. Moisture sensitive medications
  2. Medications that require storage in a fridge
  3. Inhalers, creams, injectables, eye drops etc.
  4. Warfarin because the dose constantly change

These medications will be supplied in separate containers and delivered with your iPill Pouch pack.

The pouches can hold a large number of medications. If required we can use more than one pouch for each dose.

We will supply everything you need, even if it does not go into pouches. If there are medications that you want to pause you can always let us know.

Delivery

Your medications will be delivered before your existing supplies run out. We aim to deliver your new batch of medications 24-48 hours before you need to start it.

If you need your medication earlier we may be able to assist you. Please contact our customer services team for assistance.

If you need medications immediately we can work with your local pharmacy to dispense your medications. Note, it is unlikely that they will dispense your medications in pouches.

We send all our packages via Royal Mail signed for service to ensure it is received by an adult and on time.

All our medications are sent in discreet packages with no indication of the content.

In most cases this should not be problem, but we do need to plan ahead of time and request extra prescriptions from your GP. It would also be advisable for you to inform your GP directly.

Your doctor can electronically send your new prescriptions to us directly via EPS*. If your new prescription is a medication that should start immediately, or required for short-term bases, we can work with your local pharmacy to dispense your medications.
